Meeting Needs in Jacksonville

Partners and volunteers plan to serve 500 Thanksgiving-style meals at Murrell Taylor Elementary School, 1400 Murrell Taylor Dr., in Jacksonville, from 3 to 5 pm on Sunday, November 24. The meals, which will be prepared by school officials and volunteers, will include turkey or ham, classic sides like dressing and green beans, and a dessert. We also plan to give away 500 bags of non-perishable snack items. Unity Health Hospital will be on-site providing a variety of health screenings including blood pressure and blood glucose checks.
